I was playing with the my TM-T88iii printer and found that it really prints slow if the "Enable advanced printing features" is checked. You get to this by: Start | Control Panel | Printers and Faxes. Then right click on the Epson driver and open the Properties. Now, click on the Advanced tab and Uncheck the "Enable advanced printing features". Try it now and let me know if that speeds things up.
